Car Inspection NJ

Across North America, and in New Jersey in particular, it is required to bring your car once every year or two to the inspection station. There it is tested and inspected against government standards on safety regulations and emission requirements.

Here are some of the criterias that the vehicles are checked for:

-Emissions: this is a check for your cars exhaust system and the amounts and ratios of the emissions emanating from your car

-Signal test: this is a standard check of your headlights, brake lights and blinkers to make sure everything is working

-Oil: if you change your oil regularly, your car oil should be in good condition

-Brake check: another routine check where your pads and rotors are checked, and the braking distance of your car is tested along with the level of braking fluid
